About Us
Dr. Scavetta graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1992 and went on to do a residency in Combined Adult Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. She was an Attending Physician at Loma Linda University Medical Center prior to completing a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2000.
She has worked as a staff physician in the Division of Cardiology at the VA Southern Nevada Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as with two private groups in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area prior to starting her own practice.
Dr. Scavetta is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as a member of the American College of Physicians, Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and American Society of Echocardiography. She has provided medical commentary on cardiovascular issues on local news segments such as Sonoran Living, Arizona Woman magazine, as well as lectures.
